Some of the fab places we visit are: Dubrovnik — George Bernard Shaw famously described it as “the pearl of the Adriatic”. With its
sublime location, overlooking the calm blue waters of the Adriatic it became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979.
Athens- The origins of Athens date back to 3000BC making it one of the oldest Cities in the world. It is considered the birthplace of democracy, western philosophy, literature, the Olympic Games & mathematical principles and just in case you didn't know…
Athens is named after the Greek Goddess Athena.
Santorini — this Cycladic island in the Aegean Sea has been voted as one of the top 3 cruise destinations in the World! A huge volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, gave the island its famous caldera harbour — (see above) and resulted in the end of the Minoan civilisation. Some people believe this is the location of ancient Atlantis.
Ravenna — famous for its fabulous early Christian and Byzantine mosaics, which date back to the time when Ravenna was the capital of the Western Empire. The town's greatest mosaics have been given UNESCO World Heritage status. Ravenna is not one of Italy's most obvious tourist destinations, which means its streets are not over-crowded with tourists or souvenir stalls giving the whole city a real 'local' feel.
